Domaine du Chasseur

A magnificent hunting ground of over 2,000 hectares, South East of the island at Anse Jonchée, not far from Mahebourg.

Deer, monkeys and wild boars live in their natural habitat, in the dense forests amidst a luxurious flora, where ebony, eucalpytus, palm trees, wild orchids abound.

Also, the nearly extinct kestrel bird have found their home in these lush forests.

Why not try their local specialties, like venison and a wide selection of seafod in their restaurant in rustic decor, overlooking the slopes of the mountains?

Or spend a few days in one of their 10 thatch-roofed chalets!

Tip: there is an entrance fee. The restaurant serves wild boar and deer during season. Have a try and it's worth it !!!
